So basically, you've come to the right place.

I’m McKenzie, a photographer who embraces my couples who desire physical visual memories of their connection at any level, so you can have the stages of your relationship captured to look back on and remember all of the little things that feel so big; the way they brush your hair out of your face, or beam at how beautiful you are, or even the smallest thing like a hand on your thigh. All of these things that help you feel exactly how you felt in that moment.

  • I personally made the really difficult decision to fully leave traditional weddings (aside from close relationships), but have associate photographer options for anyone who loves my work/editing and can let go of the thought of my awesome personality being there! I still absolutely love to shoot elopements and micro weddings!

  • I do not shoot weddings anymore, but if you book my work with an associate, I personally say the sweet spot for wedding coverage is 8-10 hours. It allows you to get a taste of every important moment without a lot of sitting around on my part.

  • Couples sessions are typically delivered in 4-8 weeks.

    Elopements and bigger events are typically delivered ini 8-12 weeks.

  • The best way to approach your sessions is with 95% trust and 5% direction. I work hard to curate galleries that are unique to your personal connection and I want you to hire me knowing my goal is to seek out these little moments that make your relationship special to you.

  • First you can fill out a form on my "Contact" page, which will take you to a client portal on Dubsado where I do all of my potential and booked client management. I do this so we can keep all information and emails in one spot that is easy to find and come back to! Then to solidify your spot it is a quick and simple ($100 for regular sessions and $500 for elopements / events) deposit + signed contract.

  • Of course! I actually highly recommend this because it's important we interact well together and makes the actual picture taking so much easier.

  • Copyright is often confused with a print release, and what you are most likely wanting / needing is just the print release - which you get when you book with me!

  • I do not send RAWs for a couple reasons:

    1. I always give you the best images and versions of yourself to choose from. I promise you it is incredibly overwhelming to weed through them.

    2. RAW photos files are actually very difficult to even download / open / use, so having access to that file is useless to most people.

  • For elopements I recommend at least 8-12 months before your date to ensure I am available! My weekends fill up fast!

    For couples sessions I recommend at least 2 months in advance!

    But always happy to check my schedule at any point.
