Electric Bridal Energy with Fruit, Flash, and a Whole Lot of Pizzazz
There are styled shoots—and then there are moments. This electric bridal session was the kind of creative burst that filled my soul in all the best ways. We set out with a vision: bold, spunky, unapologetically fun, and a little offbeat. Mission sooooo accomplished. I have officially moved to Denver, CO and am so excited that I have the time to share some of these amazing sessions that I haven’t yet!
From the second we started, the vibe was already on and I couldn't have asked for a more aligned model. We kicked things off with a sultry sit-down booth moment featuring a slice of red velvet cake (because yes, dessert should always be included), topped with a cut lime to represent the couple—sweet, tangy, and totally unexpected. We added in pre-rolls from Miss Grass, paired perfectly with a gold matchbox engraved with “a perfect match.” It was cheeky, a little rebellious, and exactly the vibe we were chasing.
The “bride” brought all the energy in a billowing veil covered in bold-colored bows (obsessed) that I made myself, green gemstone sunglasses, and attitude for days. We layered in texture and shine by covering fresh fruit in pearls—yes, you read that right—and squeezed juice for some ultra-dramatic jewelry detail shots. It was messy. It was extra. It was editorial magic and dare I say ICONIC??
The whole thing felt like a fever dream in the best way—spiked with color, character, and a touch of chaos. Just when I thought we’d hit our peak, we wrapped it all up with some flash-lit, moody shots outside featuring none other than an iconic McDonald’s Diet Coke. Because honestly? Nothing says “cool girl bride” like lace and a fountain soda. Is it fair to say iconic yet?!
This shoot was proof that bridal doesn’t have to be soft or subtle. It can be electric, wild, irreverent, and totally you. More of this, please - this is what brings my soul to LIFE!
