Dreamy engagement Session / Des Moines, IA

These two were so much fun to photograph and I was lucky enough to be able to travel to Des Moines for them. I have known Marissa since we were in college, and she was even one of my roommates! She has been here from the very start of my photography career and has been supportive of my business ever since, so I am so grateful to be able to be there for this wedding.

We started at the Des Moines Water Works Park and then moved to the east side of Des Moines to roam the street, architecture, and the Iowa State Capitol. It was the perfect mix of city and nature and felt so quiet, calm, and beautiful the entire time. If you don’t get that essence in these photos, what are you feeling about them? I would love to know!
