Dramatic Session in the City / Minneapolis, MN

When Midwest Gowns released this new gown, I just HAD to take it in the city for a quick little runaround. I begged one of my old friends and his fiancé to model for me and they ended up being the perfect pair for the vision I was hoping for. We just started in downtown Minneapolis to take advantage of the lights and architecture. I wanted it to be at night so I could play with flash and long exposures with the cars and the photos turned out so moody and dreamy. You can totally feel the movement in the photos but also the feeling of time being stopped which I love so much.

She chose to wear some Christian Louboutin Red Bottoms which were the perfect icing on the cake for the dress and city feel. I just love the detail shots of them on the stairs with their hands, feet, and dress sprawled out for its full appreciation. That was my favorite pose!
